New Transmontana, new operator: United Railways. The bulgarian railway company, Bullmarket, founded a subsidiary in Romania, United Railways. In the past months, they only had had diesel-powered locomotives for operation in the southern part of Romania, near Giurgiu and Ruse, the border towns of Romania and Bulgaria. It's worth noting that the Transmonatas are named after these two cities, a symbol of strong friendship between Romania and Bulgaria. 480 063 & 480 064 were spotted at Bucharest Baneasa after a series of tests from Cernele, Craiova, where Softronic builds the Transmonatas. The official delivery took place at Bucharest Baneasa with a chief excutive from United Railways. The locos left Bucharest together, but 063 stoppped at Videle to continue its journey to Bulgaria. The two locos will operate only in Romania, but some registration paper work needs to be done for 063. 064 went back to Craiova and waits entering commercial service for United Railways!
