The Dreamcast was the *ship of dreams*, and this project puts me in front of all sorts of games I'd never otherwise play. ARMADA fits this bill: an arch space combat sim with an RPG-style grind and upgrade system; it aimed to be the launch-day killer app that showcased the Dreamcast's built-in modem, but tech delays killed that dream, and ARMADA suffers from not being the MMORPG it was clearly constructed to be, with nice visuals, but repetitive action and shapeless structure. Still though, most people seemed to still get a lot more out of it, so I'm thinking of this as a promotional mission to get games like this to people who might love them.
