Pumping in the morning, lunch and before leaving work are schedule options. Massage your breast or hand express after pumping to keep the good milk flowing are ideas too. Have your baby's photo, their blanket or a piece of clothing handy to smell and remind your of your baby while you are at work. Store your milk in a refrigerator or a cooler bag with ice packs to take it home each day and keep it cool. Pumping regularly gives you an emergency back-up supply to have on hand in your freezer. A bonus is that with a breastmilk diet your baby wont get sick as often and you wont have to miss work. Pumping after feeding at home is a good idea too. Nurse whenever you are together.
