Calling Ms Banerjee's handwritten complaint "factually incorrect" and "devoid of substance", the Commission said it is contemplating action under the relevant sections of the Model Code of Conduct and the Representation of the People Act. This video was recorded on Friday, 2nd of April before the poll panel submitted its report. After the polling at Nandigram, one of the most important Assembly seats going to polls in West Bengal is Singur in Hooghly. Singur, which has great symbolic and political value in the State’s politics, is going to election in the fourth phase of polling on April 10.
