中大這一課 A Class by CUHK

自二月起停課，已經第75天。停課期間如何讓學生維持自主學習的動機，是每個老師都在思考的問題，以轉危為機。不能群聚，改用網上教學，少了肢體接觸，卻讓課堂走得更遠。 中大化學系的老師在停課期間，利用網上教學的便利造就知識轉移，向15間中學的學生示範製作酒精搓手液及漂白水，並教授消毒用品殺滅病毒的原理，幫助學界助人自助，同心抗疫；22位化學系的同學更親身到各中學協助學生及解釋相關的化學知識👩🏻🔬👨🏻🔬，讓他們有實踐的機會，更能學以致用。就讓我們一同聽聽今次課堂如何令中學生有所得著。💪🏻💪🏻 今次課堂全賴兩位化學系講師侯俊傑博士及麥建華博士的精心安排。究竟2位化學系講師為何萌生向中學生安排網上課堂的念頭？大家可觀看前傳：   • 中大這一課📚 - 前傳 A Class by CUHK 📚—The Prequel   It is the 75th day of class suspension due to the epidemic since February 2020. Every teacher is working very hard to keep up students’ self-learning motivation with a view to turning challenges into opportunities. E-learning mode, while reduces human touch, allows us to go beyond boundary. Two lecturers from CUHK Department of Chemistry, for the sake of knowledge transfer, initiated an online course to demonstrate the production of alcohol handrub and bleach in the laboratory and elaborated the theories and principles behind to students in 15 secondary schools👩🏻🔬👨🏻🔬. 22 chemistry students assisted the secondary school students to carry out the experiments and explained the theories in person. Let us hear how students have benefitted from the class. 💪🏻💪🏻 This class relies on the careful arrangement of the two lecturers of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. HAU Chun Kit Sam and Dr. MAK Kin Wah.
