This is a trick that Ken dreamed up for us, and Collin created with the plugin. This trick creates a cool effect where the delay or reverb disappears while the vocal is singing giving you the sense of a dry vocal, but in between the vocal phrases the effect comes rushing forward and adds an awesome ambiance. typically when you try to add lots of effects to the lead vocal it just makes everything sound washy and unfocused. You end up making a mess of the mix. With this cool trick from Ken Sluiter, you can keep your mix tight and clear while still adding lots of ambient, trippy delay and reverb effects to the lead vocal.
