President Mahama hails Keda Ghana Ceramics as annual tax revenue set to hit 1 billion cedis

President John Dramani Mahama says Ghana’s industrial sector is yielding results, strengthening domestic revenue mobilisation and reducing dependence on imports. He made the remarks at the sod cutting ceremony of a new float glass factory and a commissioning of a sanitary ware factory by Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Ltd in Shama in the Western Region. The President revealed that the company paid 740 million Ghana cedis in taxes to the Ghana Revenue Authority in 2025 alone. He indicated that when the factory reaches full production in August next year, its annual tax contribution is expected to exceed one billion Ghana cedis.
