This city, located on Lake Shkoder, is one of the most ancient cities in the Balkans and dates back to early antiquity, when it was home to two Illyrian tribes. I’m taking to to the city’s famous Rozafa Castle, the 18th-century Mesi Bridge, and even to the shores of Lake Shkoder to try some incredible freshwater fish.   Then, we’re heading off to Theth, a remote alpine village surrounded by towering mountains. We’re going to explore this village’s fascinating history, natural wonders, and hearty and flavorful cuisine.   And finally, we’re finishing up in Valbona, a picturesque mountain resort town that’s known around the globe for its world-class hiking and stunning vistas.
