Level 5 - The Boiler Room

You've been feeling a bit better than usual after going through the Beverly Room. You feel a bit more optimistic and you're confident that an exit is nearby. Walking through the halls has been feeling a bit repetitive, but you're grateful that you haven't found anything alive so far. After a good 40 minutes of walking, you end up finding the Beverly Room once again. Confusion sets in as you ponder how you ended up in the same place. You thought you were going in one direction, but you're starting to assume that you weren't paying attention at some point. You don't feel too bad since you've enjoyed your time in this room anyway. You head to the doors and open them, expecting to be met with the same room. However, what you saw was completely different. The room was completely filled with doors of all sizes. Every spot from the roof to the floor was occupied by a door. You realize that there are multiple types of the Beverly Room, and this one was much different. You take a deep breath and walk into the room, closing the door behind you again. You notice the table in the middle once again, and you walk over to see if anything has changed. You put your weight on one of the doors and it immediately breaks open, making you fall inside. You fall for a few seconds before violently hitting a concrete floor. Your head instantly starts hurting and you roll over on your back. Looking up, you see the door you fell into, creating a spotlight on the room you're currently in. Your eyes start panning around the room, coming to the realization that this area is far different from everything else. The room is crowded with rusted pipes and damaged machinery. The floor is riddled with trash and dust, almost looking like this place has been abandoned. You're surprised that this area is even well-lit, as you expected such a place like this to be pitch black. You slowly try to stand using one of the pipes to pull yourself up, but your hand gets burned by how scorching hot the metal is. As a matter of fact, this entire place feels like a sauna compared to the hotel. The air seems a lot thinner and everything looks a bit foggier, as well. Additionally, the sound of music is muffled by the loud clanking the machine beside you is making. You look around for an exit to this room, finding a tight hallway surrounded by more rusty pipes. Since there's no better option, you suck it up and squeeze into the claustrophobic hallway. Every second you stay in this place, your skin feels like it's boiling a bit more. Hopefully, you'll find an exit out of this area soon, or you'll soon be passed out on a floor hot enough to cook an egg. Welcome to the Boiler Room.
