In his own right, David is quite an artist: "I've worked for a lot of Canadian publishers (a lot of whom have been gobbled up by others over the years but they include McClelland & Stewart, Hurtig Publishers, McGraw-Hill/Ryerson, Macmillan's, Entrepreneur Press, National Geographic, etc. Illustrations have appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, records, posters, flyers. Books designed include a three volume, 2000+ page encyclopedia set, coffee table art books, cookbooks, novels, poetry, and funny books like Compulsive Cookery (Recipes for Neurotics), The Unorthodox Book of Jewish Records & Lists, a pair of astrology books for pets (one for cats, one for dogs) and The Goodbye Book (mostly famous peoples last words, I think). There's a lot been done between 1969 and 2013.
