All it needs is a single USB-C connection to the Mac: the cable supplies power and display data to the monitor. Very convenient and no need for a bulky power adapter. Because it is powered over USB the display is not as bright as monitors with a separate power adapter. It's also not great for gamers as it seems to have a slow response rate and the input latency is hovering around 100ms or so. Otherwise the display quality is nice - great contrast and nice colors due to the IPS panel. No noticeable bleed through. But it's a bit too reflective (I'd prefer a matte display in something portable like this) and a little dimmer than I'd like especially when it's paired up with my Mac and its very bright display.
