Tales of Rebirth - Crownell [Veigue Solo/No Damage/God Mode]

In this video, I take down the boss Crownell from Tales of Rebirth with Veigue only and without taking any damage. This fight is part of one of the main Solo runs from my channel. *Details about the fight below!* ╔════════════ ║Description ╚════════════ Well those were some fun fights! I tried to use Veigue's altered Artes for more variety and unless other runs, I'm starting to throw the "All Artes used" restriction in my runs. At least that would make for less videos to remake if I do it now! Fight 1 : with Mao & Eugene This first fight is pretty easy. Eugene is much more faster than Veigue and has better range so it's important to use fast Artes against him. Mao can instantly cast Blazing Heart just like when you fight him at the beginning of the game. However, you can also abuse his AI. When Mao is in the Cool state (RG = 0) he will stop attacking. The only way to make him reach this state is to force him to block an attack... like I did. I wanted to use Majinken for this fight. Since it's pretty slow, it works wonder with Houryuu Mueiken. Not to mention Crownell is weak to dark elemental attacks. Fight 2 : with Veigue & Annie This fight is already harder than the previous one, mostly because this Veigue is very fast (based on the rage version). Annie has very few HP and will die very fast but be careful because sometimes she will come to attack you. I found a new love for Kuushuuken. It has insane range and almost always stagger. It leaves you open at the end but with Genma Shoureppa you can get a bit of extra distance to go away from your target. I also discovered a way to glitch the x4 damage effect. Normally, it only triggers at the very first hit of an Arte. However, Mueishou can be cancelled very early and the hitbox will stay active while you start a new Arte. During this new Arte, the last hits of Mueishou will trigger the x4 bonus because the game believes your new Arte just connected. Fight 3 : with Tytree & Hilda Things become sh*t now. Hilda is based on Phantom Hilda. That means she can instant cast Spells and has tremendous HP. And look at her defense... You basically can't kill her. That's terrible because if you leave her alone she will annihilate you with large AOE spells. For this fight I used a lot of Artes that can effect the 3 lines. That way I can focus on Crownell while staggering Hilda and Tytree. The goal isn't to kill them, it's to prevent them from using any attack while I fight Crownell. At low HP, this becomes more difficult as Crownell will try to escape to cast spells. You will most likely not be able to keep Hilda and him together. Frigid Coffin is your worst enemy here. You can't outrun it unless you are facing Hilda. You'll have to use Artes to dodge it or jump to dodge the last hits. As for Crownell himself, he is quite annoying yet abusable. When you attack him, he will almost always switch lines and switch again to attack you. You can use that time to recover from your Artes safely. However, Crownell has huuuuge range. It feels like getting grabbed by Marth. His attacks are also pretty fast and can trigger "weapon spark" easily.
