Here is just a quick tutorial showing how to change the cache ratio (can be called uncore ratio / ring bus ratio on other BIOSES) down a notch (100mhz lower than you CORE ratio) which from my testing will actually give you a slight performance increase. Just remember don't be scared if it is your first time overclocking. As to why this works it mainly has to do with the CPU itself being the forefront and the cache being accessed behind that, so if the cache ratio is at the same speed or faster than the CPU ratio then it may (and does from my testing) slightly conflict and will produce slower results if it is either at the same speed or faster than the CPU core ratio. I believe Intel themselves also officially recommend having the cache ratio slower than your CPU core (though I don't know where I read that).
