Full Impact Pro extends a very warm welcome to the twelfth announced for the Full Impact Pro Fallout 2015 Six Man Showcase: Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South (IWA MS). IWA Mid-South Wrestling is one of the longest running independent companies in the US. IWA MS was started in 1996 by Ian Rotten after he moved to Louisville, KY, and following his run in Extreme Championship Wrestling, to respond to the fan demand for something different than the "Memphis Rasslin" from USWA that was featured at the Louisville Gardens at the time. Former IWA MS World Champions include CM Punk, Chris Hero, Eddie Guerrero, Colt Cabana, BJ Whitmer, Petey Williams, Mike Quackenbush, Chuck Taylor, Jimmy Jacobs and countless others. Former IWA MS Light Heavyweight Champions include such stars as Reckless Youth, Ace Steel, Delirious, Shark Boy, Sonjay Dutt, Seth Rollins and Matt Sydal. The IWA Mid-South style began as extreme wrestling with the 1997 King of the Deathmatches setting the standard. Starting in 2000, with guys like Chris Hero, CM Punk, Colt Cabana and BJ Whitmer, Ian Rotten created the Sweet Science 16, later renamed the Ted Petty Invitational. Then, in 2003, the Revolution Strong Style tournament made it's way to Kentuckiana. Now in 2015, IWA MS has something for everybody. Want violence? Want to see the best wrestlers in the US? Want to see the wrestlers that make you bust a gut? Want to see wrestlers knock each other silly with elbows and suplexes? Want to see wrestlers that get you emotionally invested in shows? Then you want IWA Mid-South. Reed "By God" Bentley, John Wayne Murdoch and Trik Davis have the distinction of representing the diversity of IWA MS in the Fallout 2015 Six Man Showcase. Reed "By God" Bentley is the newly crowned IWA Mid-South World Champion. Making his debut in 2010, a once humble kid from Kentucky is now the "franchise" of IWA MS. He was originally trained by IWA MS owner & ECW original Ian Rotten and, when IWA MS made it's return to Kentuckiana in summer of 2013, Bentley saw it as his opportunity to stand out from the crowd. With wins over established IWA MS stars like Jimmy Jacobs & Chris Hero, along with wins over wrestling legends like Ricky Morton & Jeff Jarrett, Bentley has certainly made a name for himself in a short time. A former student of Chris Hero, he's adopted the forearm as his own, sometimes calling it a "fivearm" as it's so powerful. He can hit it rolling, he can hit it straight up and he can hit it in a pop up known as the Reed Awakening. If he hits that Reed Awakening, the last thing his opponent usually hears is the bell ringing. On top of that, he isn't afraid to get hardcore if the match calls for it. Footage and pictures from a chairshot making his forehead explode recently went viral, for instance. John Wayne Murdoch is a former IWA MS World Champion that is known for the deathmatch style of wrestling, recently making it to the finals of the 2015 IWA MS King of the Deathmatches Tournament. To his credit, he is a true hybrid wrestler that does not rely on just deathmatches to make his name. He has shown that he can mix it up with guys like Davey Richards, Gary Jay and Shane Mercer while not looking out of place. He and partner Reed Bentley, collectively known as "The Rejects", have been tagging since November of 2014 but they've made an impact in that short time by having show stealing matches with The Hooligans & The Viking War Party all across the Midwest. JWM is known for his finishing move the flipping piledriver that he calls the "Deep South Destroyer". It doesn't matter if you're standing on the ground, on the top rope, on a soda machine or on the top of a barn, if Murdoch gets you hooked, you meet your demise with a Deep South Destroyer. Trik Davis is the veteran of the team, making his professional wrestling debut in 2002. A student of Sonny Rogers & Chris Hero, Davis has his own fair share of indy wrestling accolades. Trik is a former IWA MS World Champion and has competed in such prestigious tournaments as CHIKARA's Young Lions Cup, The Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and the Ted Petty Invitational. Davis is the only one on his team that has seen FIP rings having made his debut for Full Impact Pro back in 2007 against a member of another team in the Six Man Showcase, Jimmy Rave. Trik & Bentley have competed as tag team partners since July of 2013 as the Skinny Mean Men. Their last bout together was as part of a 10 man tag including John Wayne Murdoch for IWA Midsouth in February of this year.
