Today we visit the Directorate of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme to understand why there are reports of deaths due to mosquito borne diseases even in Delhi and whether the government is callous towards curbing this problem. Despite introduction of programmes to control breeding of mosquitoes and after allocation of funds, are the concerned bodies not doing their duties? Are people in slums and in tribal areas not being made aware of the threat of diseases spread by mosquitoes and how they can keep themselves safe? We ask on Prime Time.
