John Dillinger Banknote, Coin Show Interview, and A Personal Account of Dillinger’s Bank Robbery

In July, I traveled to Missouri for the Missouri Numismatic Association's annual coin show. It was held at the St. Charles Convention Center just outside of St, Louis. It was an excellent show, but what made it even better was running into a friend! My buddy Paul was there manning a booth and selling the collection of another late friend. In this conversationw we talked about all sorts of banknotes. My big purchase of the day was an East Chicago, Indiana banknote. A note from the very same band that notorius bank robber, John Dillinger robbed. My videos normally end after I show what I purchase, but me showing that 20 dollar bill is only the halfway point of the video. In the second half of the video I included a video of someone who was present during Dillinger's East Chicago bank robberty- My very own grandmother. She was just a girl when it happened and you'll see in the interview that she was a little fuzzy on some of the details, but you can still sense the emotions of that fatefull day in 1934.
