Hello hello! We just landed in Chiang Mai and we’re so excited to explore this more laid-back and nature-centric city in northern Thailand. We’ll show you around our boutique hotel, eat some incredible northern Thai food, visit the Sunday Night Market where we’ll try the street food, take you along to meet some elephants, and check out an incredible spa. 0:00 Intro 0:22 Checking into our hotel 1:34 Lunch at Chef Tao's 4:37 Sunday Night Market & Street Food 9:55 Souvenir haul 12:17 Elephant Nature Park 18:00 Dinner at Lemongrass Restaurant 19:22 Fah Lanna Spa 19:55 Preview of the next few days in Chiang Mai 📍Places we visited (listed in order of appearance in the video): Na Nirand Romantic Boutique Resort: A charming hideaway nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai. Beautiful little boutique hotel with colonial influences and an INCREDIBLE breakfast buffet that’s included with your stay (I’ll show the buffet in the next video). The resort is just 5 minutes away from the Night Bazaar and 15 minutes by car to the Chiang Mai International Airport. Chef Tao’s: Really tasty and trendy restaurant serving Thai food with a modern twist. Spoiler alert: their Khao Soi was the best I had in Chiang Mai. Sunday Night Market: Happens only once a week, and it’s huge! Several closed off streets, tons of fantastic street food options, and lots of shopping. However, after walking several streets, you’ll start to notice that vendors sell the same/similar things so don’t feel the need to visit every nook and cranny (otherwise it will be a very long night). Elephant Nature Park: An ethical elephant sanctuary (that also rescues dogs, oxen, rabbits, etc.). Lemongrass Restaurant: popular place with tourists because the menu is foreigner friendly and the food is fantastic too. Has super high ratings on TripAdvisor (4.5 stars with 3k reviews). Fah Lanna Massage - by the Night Bazaar: A more upscale spa offering a variety of services. Super clean space, relaxing atmosphere, and attentive masseuse. ⭐️ And if you haven’t seen the earlier videos of our Thailand trip, you can find them here: Bangkok Part 1: • indoor night market, luxury spa, mega mall...
