Here’s the full Video from my first ever Girls Windsurf Camp that I hosted in Fehmarn 14-16th of June 2019 ! I can’t even begin to tell you how stoked I am with how everything went!!! With my mission statement being to help grow the female windsurfing/slaloming population especially in Germany I decided to make my first Girls Windsurfing Camp right here in the North of Germany, on the Island of Fehmarn. What I liked most about the Camp is that I had made it exclusive to a max of 6 Girls so that the small group size would really allow me to personally coach each and every one of them during the 3 days. With my new Mercedes Marco Polo Van fully loaded I also decided to keep the Camp as 'mobile' as possible. To be able to get the best conditions on the Island I didn't plan a fixed location and we drove to where the wind was best each day of the Camp. Quite challenging but also very rewarding with a real 'road-trip between friends' feel to it! We ended up sailing mainly in Orth, the shallow and flat water made this the perfect location for learning and coaching! The group of Girls was incredibly fun and is really what made this first Camp so special to me! Everyone was super motivated and dedicated, I even saw bleeding hands that were completely ignored with all the passion for windsurfing!! The stories and mix of characters was amazing, and most importantly I loved how we were all able to bond over windsurfing and learning together. I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the brands who have supported this Camp with great enthusiasm, for their equipment support but also for believing in this Project: @Surfshop Fehmarn for the Foils @Starboard Germany for the Boards @Blackroll for the Blackrolls and Gym Mats making sure we stayed in shape despite a lot of sailing @Prolimit for the Lycras @Point7Windsurf for the Rigs @Wassersportcenter Fehmarn for being fantastic hosts giving us their great location for Stretching, Training, Video analysis and some amazing lunches and BBQ's!! @Red Bull for some extra energy when we needed it most ;) @Valentin Böckler who not only took awesome fotos and made the Videos, but also really helped in the running of the Camp !
