Alex, our intern from Belgium, is leaving the Sacramento History Museum for home in a few weeks but that’s not stopping him from taking trips to see destinations around the United States. This past weekend, Alex went to Cincinnati, Ohio and stopped by to see our friends at the ‪@cincinnatitypeprintmuseum2244‬. Many of our followers may remember that Brent from the Cincinnati Type & Print Museum visited our museum last November to give Howard the Cincinnati Press Award in recognition for sharing the history of letterpress printing. We have a connection to Cincinnati. Our Washington hand press was made in Cincinnati 170 years ago. Jacob, the curator of the Cincinnati Type & Print Museum, gave Alex a tour around the exhibits and even let Alex operate one of the presses.
