Fagner is autodidact and played already with an age of 13 in various bands in Brazil. With the age of 15 Fagner moved to the capital city Brasilia and studied at „Music School of Brasilia“. Later he moved to Sao Paulo to complete his studies at „Tom Jobim - State Music University" for Jazz and to specialize in jazz piano. Since 2008 Fagner Wesley lives in Vienna and is an important member of the music scene in Europe . He combines his knowledge in Latin Jazz Rhythm with various styles like Afro-Brazilian, Funk,R&B,Fusion,etc… Fagners music is highly influenced by „groove“ and „flaver“ of brazilian rhythms. In Europe Fagner performs with Alegre Correa Group,Wolfgang Muthspiel Group,Duo Samambaia,Jatoba BigBand,Jurandir Santana,Gabriel Grossi,John Sass,Bebe Krammer,Gina Schwarz ,Sigi Finkel group,Oliver Mochmann and others. In Brazil he performs with Carlinhos Brown, Daniela Mercury,Gilberto Gil,Caetano Veloso,Armandinho Macedo, Paulinho Boca, Elza Soares, Pepeu Gomes,Baby do Brasil, and others.
