Adjusting HaloLifts and ELKA branded Coilovers. In this video we show you have to adjust HaloLifts and ELKA branded coilovers. First you would want to measure your vehicle from the middle of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender. With the measurement you get you have an idea how far you need to go. Next step would be jacking up the side of the vehicle you are working on and make sure the tire can spin freely. Check and make sure the collar treads are all clean and don't have any debris. Loosen the Allen nut on the red collar until it's hand tight (DON'T PULL IT OUT). Then you can use your spanner wrench that comes with your coilovers to turn the red collar. It's easiest if you have a breaker bar but any ratchet will work. The loner the ratchet is the easier it will be to turn the red collar. Make sure you do complete 360 turns so the Allen nut is facing back at you so you can retighten it. To raise the coilovers up you would want to to go in the clockwise direction. Just like how you put on a bottle cap on a bottle. To lower the coilovers you would want to go in the counter clockwise direction. Like how you would take a bottle cap off a bottle. We get asked all the time how much does it go up or down with one turn and we say about 3 turns in either direction it's about .50 inches.
