Today, I’m sharing a delicious and traditional Boti Curry recipe. This spicy and flavorful curry is made with well-cleaned boti, freshly prepared masala, and aromatic spices. Follow the step-by-step method below to make this tasty curry at home. Ingredients: For Cleaning Boti Boti – as required Water – for boiling and cleaning For the Curry Oil – sufficient Cloves – 2 to 3 Cardamom – 1 to 2 Cinnamon – 1 small piece Onions – finely chopped Coriander leaves – chopped Mint leaves – chopped Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon Salt – to taste Red chilli powder – as required Water – as required Green chillies – chopped Curry leaves – few For Masala Powder Coriander seeds – as required Cinnamon – 1 small piece Cardamom – 1 Cloves – 2 Sajeera (black cumin) – as required Dry coconut – as required Method Step 1: Cleaning the Boti Boil water in a vessel. Add the boti and gently clean it by removing all black impurities. Wash thoroughly and keep the cleaned boti aside. Step 2: Cooking the Curry Place a pan on the stove and add sufficient oil. Add cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves, and sauté well. Add ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder. Mix well. Add the cleaned boti pieces and fry properly. Add salt to taste, cover, and cook for 10–15 minutes. Step 3: Preparing the Masala Powder In another pan, add coriander seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, sajeera, and dry coconut. Dry roast for about 5 minutes until aromatic. Let it cool and grind into a smooth powder. Step 4: Final Cooking Add red chilli powder as required to the curry. Add sufficient water and the prepared masala powder. Mix well. Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves. Let the curry cook until thick and well blended.
