This was my first large animation project ever, and its probably the reason I'm a 3D Artist right now. If you think that 3D is something you want to do, don't be intimidated by all the big boy softwares like Blender, try starting with something like this. Mine-Imator taught me the basics of 3d animation, even if it was very limited. Even today, I'd still recommend it if you're just starting and you don't want to use Blender. Either way, they're both FREE! I hope this is helpful to somebody out there.
