During a recent trip to America, I was lucky enough to drive one of the most exclusive and coveted Japanese cars ever made: the Acura NSX Zanardi Edition. Every self-respecting petrolhead will know even the 'normal' NSX is one of the finest sports cars ever created, but this 1-of-51 limited edition takes things to another level entirely. Built to commemorate Alex Zanardi's Honda-powered CART wins in '97 and '98, this 1999 model takes the lightweight and dynamically brilliant formula of the stock NSX and heats things up a little, thanks to a supercharger, lightweight BBS alloy wheels and various other subtle upgrades. I've been lucky enough to drive a few NSXs in my time, and am pleased to say this experience was equally as pleasurable as every other time I've got behind the low-slung wheel of this beautiful model.
