Today I am excited to share with you my latest Brand Ambassador project featuring the beautiful Flower Market collection! For this #G45Feature I have made a 5 ½”X7 ½”X3” album that houses 12 folios. One 4 page folio for each of the twelve months! I have included a tutorial on how to create the folios as well as a walkthrough of my finished album. The cover of this album was created using the “lay flat” method by Tamra Merrill. Here you will find the tutorial for that method. Ivory Cardstock Regular Ivory Cardstock Color Coordinated Cardstock for Inserts Kraft Cardstock Chipboard for cover and spine Adhesive Scissors Ruler Scoreboard and tool Cutter Scoretape Charms and chain Measurements Cut Guide Summary To create 12 folio bases Kraft cardstock 12 – 7”X12” Score each at 5 & 10 lengthwise. Fold in at the 10” scoreline to create an inside pocket. 6- 4 ⅞”X8 Score each at ½” on both sides lengthwise. 6- 1”X7” Score down the middle at ½” and miter corners. These are hinges that will attach each set of two folios together. 6 – 1”X7” Score all at ⅜” Miter corners of the long side only. These are “L” hinges for the album spine that you will attach your folios to in the album. 6 – 3 ¾”X4 ¼” Score at ½” on 4 ¼” side 6 – 4 ¾”X3 ¼” Score at ½” on 4 ¾” side These will be the hinged flip-outs for each folio 110lb. Ivory Cardstock 12 – 2 ⅜”X4 ½” These are for matting the tags that are cut from the paper Regular Ivory Cardstock 12 – 4 ¾”X6 ¾” Folio cover mattes 12 – 4”X4 ½” Folio cover flower focal mattes Coordinating Colored Cardstocks (various) 12 – 5 ¼”X7” – Scored at 3 ½” on 7” side Calendar inserts This project is large and utilizes all of the available pieces in this collection along with some cardstocks from my stash as well. Each of the six hinges on the spine holds two connected folios with a pocket in between.
