Youth Ideathon - GEO Global Forum 2025

Youth Ideathon - a unique and immersive ideation experience around the GEO Global Forum in Rome, where tech-savvy youth with diverse backgrounds meet policymakers and business to inspire how space technologies can meet key information needs for data-driven decision-making. GEO Global Forum Rome, Italy 1 – 9 May 2025 1 bus, 5 problem-owners, 7 experts, +10 young innovators, mock-ups of solutions build within 750 km: this is a ten-day ideathon on wheels! A unique and immersive ideation experience, jointly organised with the GEO secretariat, where young Geo-information Environmental data scientists meet policymakers and Non-Space Business to think through solutions for problem owners. In teams of 2~3 innovators formed on day 1, they build prototypes of solutions and presented these live @ GEO Global Forum 2025 to give inspiration but also to get feedback & tips from experts and policy-makers. This situated event is fully organised and designed by RAMANI (https://ramani.ujuizi.com/) and implemented with support from the GEO secretariat.
