Modern Luxury in a Historic Home

Hidden behind a beautiful old brick wall and surrounded by peaceful gardens, this historic five-bedroom home was such a joy to photograph and film. As a photographer, places like this are a real treat, full of character, natural light, and thoughtful design. The house dates back to the 1500s and still has its original windows, wooden beams, high ceilings, and cosy fireplaces, all brought to life with stylish modern touches like solid oak floors and designer lighting. One of the highlights for me was the stunning old billiard room, now a bright and elegant space with huge windows and lovely details everywhere you look. I later found out that one of the episodes of Sherlock Holmes drama was filmed here, which made the shoot even more exciting, no surprise, really, as the whole place feels like something straight out of a film set. #property #historichome #Lymm
