The Most Underrated Part of Wales | Mid-Wales Travel Guide

Join us on an exploration of the most underrated part of Wales, none other than Mid-Wales. Packed full of beautiful scenery, unique locations, and more! Enjoy Firstly, the Elan Valley. We'll visit the impressive Caban-Coch dam and the lesser known exploded dam, Nant-y-Gro, that was bombed during WWII, we also marvel at the stunning Claerwen Dam. Then, we'll head to one of the oldest towns of wales, Rhayader for lunch and a wander around the shops. In the afternoon, we'll embark on a sunset hike up an unnamed hill (that my granddad has creatively named 'THE BONK' years ago). From the summit, we'll enjoy breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside. It's the perfect way to end a perfect day. I filmed this video in August, so we were blessed with beautiful sun throughout! This video is for anyone who loves beautiful scenery, outdoor activities, and hidden gems.
