Tommy's Trains - 8 Hours of Trainspotting at 5 Different Railway Stations

What a day of Trainspotting. We set off at 9am to catch a train from Newcastle Central Station to Middlesbrough. We planned to see the Volker Rail but realised we wouldn't make it so got off at Thornaby instead, only for the Volker Rail to be cancelled. After recording a few trains at Thornaby, we caught a train to our next station, Middlesbrough. At Middlesbrough, we saw a few more trains before heading to Honky Tonk Bar and Grill for lunch. There aren't many venues in the North East or England that play county music so with us being huge country music fans, we were delighted to find this bar and restaurant 🤠 After lunch, and a little bit of dancing, we headed back to Middlesbrough station. We knew there would be more freight at Eaglescliffe so that was our next destination. We got to see lots of trains including three freight but the sun spoiled it a bit. It was directly behind where all three freight trains were coming from so it's not the best shots we've taken. We then headed to Darlington where we caught an LNER Azuma back to Newcastle, getting home well after 5pm. We had an amazing day and Tommy cannot wait to return to Middlesbrough.
