Usually, in the early mornings, Mayor Govern likes to take a walk around his village. Talk to him during his walk to listen to one of the only voiced lines he has in this whole game. When he's back at home, talk to him about the Five Scrolls now that Leno's back. Turns out he doesn't actually know much about them, but apparently that one guy in the stocks does. Go talk to him. He and Leno get along pretty well, but his voice sounds pretty rough. He's hungry for bread, & thirsty for water. If you saved yourself some time, you should already have those things to feed to him. His voice clears up and he introduces himself as Jon, the treasure hunter. After Jon explains to Musashi what a treasure hunter is, Musashi starts to distrust him, seeing him as a thief. Jon offers him a deal: If he sets him free, he will tell him a secret. In order to free Jon, Musashi must go through the Meandering Forest north from the Soloment Forest, and find a key hidden within a grave. The problem is that Meandering Forest is under a spell where any inexperienced travelers can quickly get lost in it. So to help Musashi, Jon lends Leno to help him out and find the correct path through the forest into the graveyard. -------------- Like I said, Meandering Forest is north of Soloment Forest. Its entrance is past some thorny plants, so you'll have to assimilate Hop from a Hopper plant in order to hop over them. You should see Leno at the Meandering Forest's interest. Inside, just keep track of Leno and try not to lose sight of him while he's sniffing around. In each section, when he finishes sniffing the place, he'll bark in the direction you need to go next. Later on, enemies will show up everywhere to make your progress harder. If they hit Leno enough times, or if you do accidentally, he'll run away by heading south, making you start the search over again. Eventually, you should reach the Graveyard, and Leno will immediately head to the grave the key is hidden under. Grab the key and head south to automatically leave all of Meandering Forest. You can head to Jon to free him from his stocks, but only late at night when nobody else is watching. Moving the goalpost, before Jon tells Musashi his secret, the next thing he wants him to do is climb up Twinpeak Mountain and cut down four logs on the way to give to him. -------------- That will happen in the next video. The last major thing I do from here is make it daylight so that I can finally go inside the Pawn Shop. Then I stock up on a couple C-Drinks from the Grocery then it's off to Twinpeak Mountain again! It's ran by Conners, a grumpy old man with a smoking pipe stuck in his mouth. Despite his sour attitude, he actually means well and can sometimes share some words of wisdom. Have him appraise any random junk you find from treasure chests. They'll turn into better items that you can then sell to him for Drans.
