Newquay Rowing Club 'The Early Days' NRC Centenary Video

This short video tells something of the beginning and early years of Newquay Rowing Club and the Newquay Cornish Pilot Gigs, through their earliest days to formation of the club in 1921. Further images cover the period to the outbreak of World War II after which the club was resurrected in 1947 to become the premier gig rowing club it is today. Post WWII will need to wait for another video, however there are some video clips from the 1950's, 1970's and 21st century to enjoy.
