Beatles In Mono 2025 Defective Vinyl (Please Please Me): What Now?

Here is my experience with one of the multiple defective LPs in the new The Beatles in Mono box set. I find UMG/Apple's response to my email asking for a resolution to be, shall we say, inadequate. Update: email received on August 8: “Here's what happens next: Once the replacement products pass our enhanced quality control process, we'll notify you immediately We'll send you complimentary replacements for all damaged items listed above at no cost You won't need to return any of the damaged products to us Replacement items will start to ship as soon as they are ready, and we expect all customers will have received their items by the end of September 2025” So it looks like they are going to make this right after all!
