In the (tailor-made) suit of the prodigal son, we bring you Mustang, a band that was born in Clermont-Ferrand just over a decade ago and ever since has been dazzling audiences with its incredible tracks (and covers) drawing on rock, country, electro and even local song. Combining biting lyrics with exciting choruses, there is more to the trio than meets the eye, as is evident from their recently released fourth album with its telling title of ‘Memento Mori’ (‘remember that you will die’) that really does dot the i’s and cross the t’s: we are not here to waste time, but to revel in the huge breadth of these earworm tunes with their radiant groove.
