Our unique Grip Feed produces ±.005" (0.127 mm) length tolerances on a single stroke regardless of part length, speed, or material thickness. The concept is simple. Because the grippers move between physical stops, the Feed must repeat the same part length consistently. Since it is the travel of the movable grippers that is actually being measured, the material does not play an active role in the measuring process. Simply put, the material is along for the ride. The result is the best "real world" length tolerances in the industry. Accuracy and performance are the standards by which all Coil Processing Equipment is judged and Red Bud Industries' Light Gage Cut-To-Length Lines set the standard. Processing pre-coated, ferrous, and non-ferrous materials, Red Bud Industries' Lines can process material up to .135" (3.5mm) thick at production speeds up to 400 FPM (122 MPM), placing them among the fastest Coil Lines in the world. In terms of accuracy, our unique Grip Feed System can produce blanks with a length tolerance of +/- .005" (.127 mm) straight from coil. For flexibility, Red Bud Industries' Lines can be custom configured with side or end discharge conveyors and Stacking Systems capable of stacking parts 240" (6100 mm) in length and stack weights up to 20,000 lbs.
