I've been working on this one for the last 2-3 months, between work and building better video-editing habits. It's a mix of analysis, jokes, and just straight-up gushing about a game series that I grew to love, along with a certain title that may or may not ever get a remake. Awakening and Echoes Cutscene Footage is from ‪@justonegamr‬ FE4 Gameplay is my own This video is about Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, a Strategy-RPG that came out in 1996 on the Nintendo's Super Famicom console. It takes place on the continent of Jugdral, and follows the story of the Sigurd the knight and his own forces as they fight armies to protect their homeland from threats outside and within. This game is highly regarded by fans of Fire Emblem as being a quintessential title for the series as a whole, but I believe that it is often overshadowed by other classic SNES turn-based games like Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Final Fantasy VI, most likely due to the games more mature elements and themes. I believe that FE4 deserves to be more well-known and played, and a proper remake feels like the best way to go about that. Judging by the lack of any substantial news, the best we can do is speculate, and hope that Intelligence Systems and Nintendo can recognized that FE4 is long overdue for getting a fresh coat of paint. Let me tell you why I wholeheartedly believe that is the case, with some research and analysis to back up my claims.
