Scenes as we set up the stage for an outdoor show by Washington, D.C.-based '90s band, @WhiteFordBronco ! Enjoy vignettes of preparation, load in & setup, show time, and tear down for this iconic band. Using a combination of both house-provided and our lights, we brave the scorching heat and a thunder storm to put on an evening of live music with a show best watched with sunglasses on. Join this first-person view as we patch into the house lighting rig while rolling out our own ground package, programming on the grandMA3 lighting platform with a little ShowCockpit help, and running everything through Capture visualizer before show day. We share the stage (and plenty of cabling) with the audio engineer, tie kick and snare lines into our lighting setup using a mic splitter and audio interface, and light up a large crowd that doesn’t mind a little summer weather drama. There’s even some chatter about house PA EQ along the way. From pre-rigging tripods and trussing in the garage to the final pack-up at the venue, it’s a full-circle look at what it takes to pull off live production for a band that always keeps the ’90s singalongs going strong. 00:00 Pre-viz 01:07 Fixture addressing & packing 02:10 Venue arrival & load in 07:48 Rig test 08:12 Rain storm! 08:42 Soundcheck, preset checking, PA EQ 10:00 Showtime! 14:13 Teardown & packup
