This video discusses more than basic weapon synthesis; it also covers how you can raise the level of each skill that weapons can contain. 0:00 Start/Intro 0:23 Weapon Synthesis 1:34 Skill leveling 3:24 Defect Weapons 6:04 Loot/Drop Tips 7:58 Conclusion (Note: I had made this video early on before really getting to level up any of my weapons. I have far more powerful weapons now, due to being able to level them up and unlock the 'Prime' and 'Magnus' difficulties. So, this wasn't an intent to show off my inventory, just a 'how-to'. Read on...) Basic formula: Skill A Lvl1 + Skill A Lvl1 = Skill A Lvl2. This goes for any level; simply add any 2 matched set of skills to upgrade it to the next level. Skill A Lvl3 + Skill A Lvl3 = Skill A Lvl4 It pays to farm for skills. Find your desired weapons (ideally, with the most skill slots possible) and continually farm for loot to level up the individual skills. SOMETIMES, it doesn't work, but I am still trying to figure out what the exact prerequisites are for this to work. It may be a matter of the weapon ranks that the skills are attached to, the weapon types, etc. I'm not sure yet, but this video shows an example that actually does work so that everyone can see that this can actually be done. There is also a use for weapons with DEFECT. You can use the weapon that the defect is attached to to level up your desired weapon, but the trick is: make sure your desired base weapon has NO EMPTY SKILL SLOTS. This way, there'll be no room for defect. You can pick the other skills and leave defect out. Doing this allows for the initially defective weapon to have its base/stock stats which would be what goes into upgrading your desired weapon. This video also covers basic tips on getting more loot/drops. All in-game; no tricks. Simply use the Item and Credit scanners during gameplay to activate them. Also, when synthesizing weapons, look for skills like CrdDrop, WpnDrop and RareDrop to help improve drop rates, etc. These are all merely observations I've made from playing the game. Hope this all helps... Cheers!
