There are many lovely pubs in the Waterloo, North Lambeth and Southwark areas and today Neil and I explore a small but carefully chosen selection. We can’t visit all of them in the area. A pint in each was the plan. Our tour included: • Marie’s Café for a late breakfast • Crown and Cushion, Westminster Bridge Road • The Windmill, The Cut • The Kings Arms, Roupell Street • The White Hart, Cornwall Road • The Rockingham Arms, Elephant and Castle • The Ship, Borough Road • Marie’s Café for a late supper • The Kings Arms, Roupell Street (second visit) If you can suggest another area for Neil and I to explore, with some suggested pubs that have dark ales/bitters on tap, please do let me know.
