I found this interesting metal detecting this very old place

Way out there in the forest beyond the ancient rock walls I found this section of colonial farm that has been eroding away through the centuries. Stacked rocks, improved worked land and relics in the ground. I was out there reading the landscape history when I came upon the piles of field stones and right near them with my Tekentics G2+ I dug up a couple of clothing buttons. They were from the early 1800s so you know people were working to clear this small piece of land. The interesting part is there is two sections with a big washed out part in the middle. what I basically found was the tail end of what was a big wide open pasture or field. This must have been beautiful in the 1700s and 1800s ! I found a really nice eyeglass frame hundreds of years old so that was excellent.
