This is my unboxing and field tests of the popular Garrett Ace 150 metal detector. A well built metal detector with amazing accuracy for the beginner detectorist. With the participation of my daughter Gabrielle I test this metal detector with some buried coins. Even kids can have fun in this hobby. We found our first coin today and also a bit of metallic rubbish but we had fun nonetheless. The coin was a 20p from 1982, not bad for a start. The metal detector is cheap enough to get you started but I would advise you get a coil cover if your package does not come with it. I have created another channel called UKDetectorist and that is where I will post all my finds and videos while using the device. Overall, I am really happy with the Garrett and due to it's upgradability I will probably keep this model for years to come and just upgrade the coils.
