Wood turning a lamp is one of my favourite things to turn and using cross grain wood can make some of the most stunning designs. I go through my method of woodturning lamps along with giving my personal opinion on long hole boring kits and my preferred alternative. A few times I have been asked about the safety standards required for lamps so I also try and answer the questions.
