Options for shock and fork cartridge upgrades... there not ideally affordable by any means. The GSXR shock swap though? affordable, fully adjustable, and relatively simple to install! Probably the best mod you can make to these 400's is suspension. The rear and front give little to no adjustments, and this really hinders pushing your ability comfortably. If you're not in the ideal weight set from factory you'll never get the full potential out of your bike. FOR NINJA 400: You can buy a Z400 shock bracket to get around buying the Norton battery box bracket! (Not recommended, will be 14mm lower than stock) Z400: you will need to order a Ninja 400 bracket if you want to get optimal ride height! ***REEAD****Ride height for aggressive riding would be slightly raked towards front. Think of an ZX6R's high seat, then think of a Cruiser bikes low rear end. Higher gives agile flicky turns, Lowering will gain stability but lose corner maneuverability. GSXR shock/Ninja 400 bracket: Source from Ebay ($40-50 each) Norton shock adapter: $50 (If you have a Z400, you'll need shock bracket from Ebay also!) Feel free to like and subscribe!
