Recently, I got three freetails to try out for the first time. I’ve heard so many great things about this disc, and I needed to know if the hype was real—it is! The Freetail’s flight numbers are 10 | 6 | -3 | 2, which I believe are fairly accurate. This disc is definitely US and with the right amount of power, it will keep turning and have a baby fade at the end of its flight. When I first got this disc, I expected it to be similar to an Innova Roadrunner, but I couldn’t be more wrong! This disc is wider than expected (2.0cm) and much flatter than I thought it would be. But that flatness doesn’t affect the glide (surprisingly!). The freetail feels great in the hand for backhand and forehand. It is definitely going in the bag, and I can’t wait to shred some courses with it! If you’re able to get one, I strongly recommend trying it out. However, I do NOT believe this disc is for everyone. Why? Because it’s fast, and if you can’t throw it close to it’s speed, it won’t be useful for you.
