One Of The Most Modern Libraries In The World | The Deichman Library Oslo 2020

The Deichman library is located in Bjørvika near the Oslo Opera House. It is a modern and dynamic library that contains book collections, movie theatre, media workshops, gaming zones, lounges and a restaurant. It has six floors with the ground floor included. It has very modern easy way to access for any book you want through computers installed all around the library. Returning of the books is also made easy and fast through machines found at the entrance. Architectural work is very impressive, the diagonal light shafts cut through the building and connect indoor spaces with the streets outside and the nearby Opera House. After dark, the building glows and change looks as a reflection of all the different activities and events that take place inside. The library is designed by Lund Hagem Architects and Atelier Oslo.
