CO₂ - which is released via the snifting channel and the valve manifold into the hall environment after snifting in the filling process - is absorbed by an extraction system. The extraction system consists of a low-pressure radial blower and a separation vessel so that beer and foam residues are separated from CO₂ in the return gas from the bottle snifting process. Afterwards, pure gas is fed to the customer's exhaust air system from where it is released into the open, into ambient air.
