[GONE] Old OTIS Elevators at (Former) HARRIS Resort Kuta Beach, Bali

• UPDATE (May 2017): This building has been demolished to make way for Beachwalk extension. RIP (1990s-2017) My first time ever filming an OTIS elevator in Bali, original from the early 1990s. This property was originally known as Sahid Kuta back in the 1990s. Possibly in the late 2000s, a large portion of the resort was demolished to make way for Beachwalk shopping center (opened in 2012), except this part of the building which was converted into a HARRIS hotel. The elevators were restored in their original condition, and continued to operate until their final day in 2017 when they were finally shut down for good, and the building was closed for demolition (which is probably why they were never modernized). A new building is currently being built on the same land. Not sure what it will be in the future.
