The goal was to create a hygienic, easy-care, and visually appealing surface without completely replacing the flooring and significantly disrupting the daycare center’s operations. The floor showed clear signs of wear, pressure marks, and discoloration that could no longer be cleaned. A complete replacement was out of the question for cost and time reasons. At the same time, hygienic requirements had to be met, the floor had to be durable, and it also had to have low VOC emissions.
