TOOLS NEEDED: Acrylic urethane clear coat Clearcoat activator Blending solvent Spray gun Paint filter Tack cloth INSTRUCTIONS: 1- Mix the clear coat and the activator following the manufacturer's recommendation. 2- Make sure the surface is ready to receive clear coat and the blend area is water-sanded using P-1550 grit sandpaper. 3- Wipe the surface once again with a tack cloth. 4- Start by spraying a medium-wet coat of clear coat. Stop the first coat at the beginning of the sanded area. *Always keep the spray gun parallel to the surface and overlap each pass by 75%. 5- Use a second spray gun and immediately apply a fine shaded coat of blending solvent at the end of the clear coat. Let dry. 6- Wipe the surface with a tack cloth between each coat. 7- Repeat the process but this time, apply a wet coat of clear coat. Stop the second coat a little further than the first one. 8- Once again, use a second spray gun and immediately apply a fine shaded coat of blending solvent at the end of the clear coat. 9- Make sure the finish is smooth and uniform. Let dry. 10- Wash your spray gun properly. 11- When the clear coat is completely dry, polish the blended area using a polishing machine and a fine compound.
