Eco-friendly innovation doesn’t always have to involve creating a new technology. Sustainability can be social, too – as Anna Rauhansuu shows us.​ ​ Her business, Myssyfarmi, sources raw wool from waste that would usually be tossed aside, to create handmade knitwear and accessories.​ ​ They employ almost 100 retired ladies from the surrounding agricultural countryside, creating a close-knit community who do meaningful work long into their later years.
