IGN's 2011 Game of the Year Award Winner Announced!

What an incredible year 2011 turned out to be. All three major home consoles peaked with strong lineups, the PC continued to prove that the reports of its demise were greatly exaggerated, and mobile gaming continued to take the world by storm. The IGN editors faced a truly daunting task when it came time to crown one title as the best of the year. Many meetings were held, many insults were hurled but at the end of the day, we were able to come together and agree on one single game which distinguished itself above the rest.
